So even though the August beauty box is sold out I want to take the time to go ahead and review it. We’re almost into September so remember the new beauty box will be out in just a few days!

I was overall pleased with this beauty box and preferred it over last months July box. Even though the value of the box was down from $30 to now $20 you got two full size products in this box that were sample sizes in the last one.

I’m not in love with the shampoo, the scent gives me a headache so I won’t even try it.

The face wash is fine but is nothing special.

I love the mask and Biore strips that they sent. While only one use each it’s great for a small spa day and lets you try out the products and decide if you want to purchase them again in the future.

The two things I really want to talk about are the make-up wipes and the deodorant.

The left are from the July box and the right are this months box. I actually saved the July box for a trip I was planning sometime between July and August. They came with such little product it’s insane. The make up wipes only came with 5 wipes, I suppose enough to sample but it’s not going to last nearly as long as the 25 that was sent with the August box. Also the deodorant was a complete joke. You have to twist and twist to get the gel up them get all the air bubbles out and then you’re left with less than a week of product.

While I was only able to use the July box products for about a week I was able to actually incorporate the August box products into my daily routine and am continuing to use them and sample them.

I hope the September box does not disappoint!
